RX-7 starring The Pullback Mod

I just put the front pullback mod on my MS RX-7, looks pretty phat! I'm pleased. The only thing I wasn't too pleased with was the fact that I had to trim my chassis a tad to get the front pullback wheels on the front knuckles, to not rub against 3 specific spots on the chassis on each side. It hasn't ruined the integrity of the chassis so all is well, but the rear pullback mod doesn't require this. Once again showing the front pullback mod and the rear pullback mod both have pros and cons.
And without further delay... here's the star of this evenings post:

I'm kinda partial to them myself, didn't think just a plain ole jane would do it, but just the rims make it look different.. better.

have always like the RX-7. Had a crapy 626sc in the early 80's. Beat the shit out of it.. had real troubles with it in the end.. (hmmm).

she's a good little track whore - zippy, but now that she's got new shoes, I think she needs to be boosted... I might have to give her the dual (cell) action.
I haven't quite decided, if I give her the dual action, she'll be too "loose" for da track I'm affraid, she'd be hookin on da strip and bangin in da corners.

Have you done any 'lights' mod?
picture the parking lights glowing with a blue neon color against that sweet red and the white rims.

no I haven't yet, but have been contemplating it...
I was thinking of how I could use fiber optics and if it would even work.
Originally I wanted a light mod just for headlights and tail lights, that's why I was thinking of fiber optic wire, I didn't want the entire under part of my bit glowing like a ufo.
however, after reading your post, you gots a point, I think this might actually look good glowing from below, wonder if blue or reddish orange would look better?

right, I was going to say that, but I didn't....about the bottom of the car glowing. In this particular setup....The red, and white, I thought neon blue would make it complement nicely...
don't know about the fiber setup. Bomb... what about a real Lazer setup?
ever take one of those pen lazer lights apart... wicked simple... couple of button batteries.. shit... instead of robot wars.... bit-wars.. (copywrite 2003 NJC).

there ya go!
that'd be cool, lazer's, I have taken apart one of the pen lazer pointers, but I'm wondering how much power it would require.
