Rcpics.net is acting up right now for me, so I will just post the link to tinyrc right now, but if someone can/wants to save them and host the pics until, feel free.

Nice. Did ya remove the paint from the body or did ya cut out the spot for the leds?

I just drilled holes thru the lights. The plastic is too thick for the LED's to properly shine thru. It doesn't look bad at all. The front lights are round anyways, and I cut the rear holes sorta square to match the existing lens. After that, I just hot glued everything in place.

Thanks for hosting the pics!

No problem on the host thing, allthough it seems that mines is actin screwy too now. :???:

I was planning the same thing for the same body. Allthough I'm not drilling. I'm just gonna strip the paint. I have this decal/paint remover that usually does the trick. That and a makeshift q-tip and I should be good to go.

Nice as always man. :-)

Yeah, I had planned on just removing the paint until I saw how thick the plastic was, and I thought it might take away from the brightness. I can't wait to see yours and how it turns out that way.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Thanks pimps! I did this real quick last night to see what it would look like. Now, I'm going to lengthen the wires to the headlights so I can move the LED PCB to the rear and make room to lower the body a bit.

Well I didn't have the heart to strip my '67 seeing as it's so freakin nice as is. I did though go ahead and strip the lenses on the '69 yenko. Now after my lil break (gotta put the wife to sleep) I'm gonna mask and paint her up.
As I was looking closer at the light pcb I couldn't help but think if there were a way to attach that right to a bit pcb. :???:
Maybe dave or hog or any of the other electronics cats could take a closer look at it. :-)
