Got a subie and just had to go rallying

Well I got me a new subie and decided to see what it could do offroad, it handled nicely and took to the mud like a fish to water. I only hope it will all wash off

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Did you use simulated mud or the real thing?

That's what I'm asking. It looks so real. Especially next to that Yenko.

Thats the best compliment I've had, thanks.

Its squadron putty, I used a toothpick to apply it and the painted it with acrylic paints, first brown over all the thick spots, then black to add depth to the bottom of the mudd and the deep spots. I then washed over it with a light tan color, once that dried I washed over it again with brown.

Of course this was after I had cut it in two places and stretched it and the chassis and repainted it blue and added the graphics and cleared the whole thing. Notice it's length next to the yenko. :)

Hey looky there, it is stretched isn't it?

That's amazing, I can't even see where you may have stretched it at.

You're right Cavey! But you won't with all the mudd!

Rip, where do you come up with this stuff Pimp? Very original, you're a better pimp than me cause I couldn't come to muddying up my Micro's !

Great Idea, great job !

Well Darktari, it wasn't easy, I mean I started the build knowing the end result but when the clear dried it was really hard to go any further, but I have other shiney cars but I don't have any with mud, and I kept think how yenko is now one of my favorites.

I posted some pics before the mudding, so check em out it was a beautiful subaru, now it's got character.

Thanks again everyone.

Already planning another one to add to Ripper's Reality Collection.
