He's probably using yellow masking tape.
Fine job so far ph2t. :-)

nah man, it's the masking tape. It's a green "rubbery" type of tape that I swiped from my ex employer, they make trucks and this tape was used for masking on the truck cabs... bloody great tape!

since those shots above I've coated it 4 times with the blue pearl. I then added some funny pearl/clear colour that I think has now made it go to shit.... I dunno yet, I've got to do the detailing first and then some clear coats. After that I'll stand in judgement... :???:

That looks awesome! It sort of reminds me of those misfit frankenstein toys in "Toy Story" that the kid next door had living under his bed.

How does the wheel-glued-on-the-outside-of-another-wheel work? I have this set of HUGE dragster-style wheels from a Muscle Machine car that fit perfectly over the top of raw Bit wheels. Gonna have to give it a go.

Nice work!

thanks man, the wheel-glued-on-the-outside-of-another-wheel thing works well. I've got three steering springs in the assembly, you need it to keep those badass front wheels in check..... :suspect:

OK pimps. All that's left is some finer detailing and a clear coat. Once that's done it's all happening!
