The pen in the pictures was a test. I painted the hood, headlights, taillights and the gas cap (???). Im not doing that again. The paint didnt cover as well as it could, and the exhaust pipes, didnt fit well.

Well.. all fucks.. And something i will try to avoid with my S2000.

Not bad for your first paint job. Sounds like you have the right attitude. That's all any of us can do, is learn from our mistakes. I've made pul-lenty of mistakes.

I don't really reccomend using any pen for large coverage like the hood. I'd reccomend that you mask and spray something like that. Small details it's best to use a detail brush, and some paint, but you could get away with a permanent marker. Black Sharpies are kinda purplish, but I've found these ones called "Ink Tanks" that are nice and black, and if you use them when your clear coat is still fresh, they stay on really good.

That is not my first paint job, but my first spray paint job.

I have not done any major changes on the chassis except the exhaust pipes , where i had to cut Some huge holes in the chassis.

The so called front lip is a standard front, i just cutted all the small details away so that it looks like a big air intake.

Then i lowered it, and putted the rims from the speed-set on it.

Dave-->It calms me down that even you makes mistakes with your paint. phew..

Thanks Pimps.

I decided to "redo" it so right now its drying in our garage - still yellow, and hope fully i'll work something out with the hood and the exhausts.

Those pipes look like they come off a Tunerz diecast. Am I right?

No man, they are from a real cars something.. err..

When a cylinder creates pressure in a real car engine, then it is those which shoots the pressure away.. damn..

In denmark its called "tændrør", and the exhausts is the top of those. They are about 5mm wide.

BTW.. i dont have that body.. After i repainted it, it fell on the grass, i repainted it again - and guess what? It did it -fell on the grass.

I got this though. It was ment to be fired away at nye, but i forgot. Its has a major fuck on the left rear whell well where i cut to deep. So the wheel well is not round anymore. now its like an angle.

And now i dont have anymore bodies to mod - 2 bad.
