Testarossa - work in progress

Hi!
Some time ago i promised to share pictures of my work with Testarossa.
I found proper liquid for paint removing (paint is acrylic).
And something very bad happened
Body was destroyed by this remover
But i don't give up. There will be Testarossa modification.
Next pictures soon.

Ouch!!!! Hate when that happens. Good luck on bringing her back to life. I'ld love to see that all nice and shiny.

Part 2
I cleaned body by removing destroyed surface with sandpaper 1200, 1500 and polished with car polishing paste, felt wheel and Dremel.
"Grilled" parts have to be replaced. Two parts are cut out already. I used Excel Light Duty Knife then Excel file and sandpaper 1200.

New pcb cover. I made it of plastic sheet 0,5mm thick.

very nice work miva, damn good stuff getting it from the top post to the nice smooth work it is now. I like the pcb cover too, very clever.

Excellent work on that PCB cover Miva.

Materials: epoxy putty Milliput
Tools: Citadel Sculpting Tool, Excel Light Duty Knife, sandpaper
