thaks for the props , i just cut it out with a exacto that i got hot with a candle(i dont like my dremil). i then used a set of very small files to square it up and some sandpaper to finish cleaning the area up .

guys... when pimps post pics in the contest thread and in the flossin thread - they almost always include new shots, different shots than were were posted in the contest thread.
this isn't your chance to spam - it's your chance to show more shots of the ride however you wish without having to think about contest rules and such.

I'm not singling you out - but this is the 2nd one tonite in less than an hour so it's time to address the issue.

Yeah, you know, I think that looks pretty slick, but I could use a bigger pic to see better. Now's your chance to crop out all the background so we can focus on that car.

Well there's only one way to get better. ;)

Seriously though, I've got really shaky hands, so if I can do it anyone can.

Here's what I do, I keep a rag soaked with mineral spirits near by, so I can quickly wipe off my mistakes, and retry. Eventually, after a few tries, I get it close enough.

for headlights have you tried masking it off? I know I am much better with a razor than I am with a brush try masking headlights and tail lights off.. might be a slow process but worth the effort in the end...

That's not too bad. Some details, even if they're imperfect really bring a car alive.

Also, get a "Liner" brush from a craft store. It should have a fat handle, and a really fine tip. I think the fat handle gives me a little more control.
