As you pimps can probably tell, I've gotten a little (alot) braver than just lowering my Mini. This time I took a BigLots clone and removed the spoiler and roof scoop, added a body kit and custom spoiler. Here are some pics. PLEASE feel free to let me know your opinions. And yes, I'm still gonna paint it. I'm thinking a gloss black. What do you guys think?

Oh, and are the pics any better? I know they are still a little blurry.

I like the brave new Crome! Great job by what I can see bro.

But as always, better pics are well... better. Basically, if using a digital camera (not a web cam) Make sure you focus on the car, nothing else really matters than that. Don't be affraid to take the picture farther away if you don't have macro (the tulip icon) which is specifically for close ups, you can always crop. Oh and finally, photoshop is your friend.

Bottom line, the ride looks tight, good luck on the paint 8-)

It's not, the cheapo body is molded in red. I'm using a digi cam, just a 2.0MP one. I've done the best I can on cropping and focusing. I even broke out the flourescent light for this one.

Anyway, I'm still gonna add a "staple" grill, like DT's intercooler, and exaust. I'm not sure on the exaust style. Dual or single?

Dude check out my gallery, all taken on a Sony 2.0 MP w/ no Macro. You CAN take better pictures, just a matter of how. I am in no way saying I take the best pics here, but I make due w/ what I have and make the best of it. Oh and SG was sarcastic, his pics are always blurry, mainly cuz he is always drunk when he takes em :drinkin: It's arite tho, yer both good shits in my book.

That is the shell that they sell w/ the white WRX/Evo looking shell for $1.99. They still have a ton at my Big Lots, and should still at yours.

One thing tho chrome, you you have a dead body in the trunk of that thing? She is sitting lower in the back than the front.

Nah, no dead body...the body's not been properly mounted yet. It will set level once I get it all finished. I'm getting ready for painting right now.

PS. Any picture tips? I'm using a camera just like the one you said Finks. A 2.0MP with no Macro option. I don't have photoshop, just Dazzle and Paint.

I think it's the wheel size giving that effect, Finks...

Is it just me or does that wing kinda look like an older Lumina z34?

Only thing I would maybe mess with is add a few more layers to the back ground effects to bring them down level with the rest... like maybe a diffuser look or something?

Regardless, I think it looks dope.

Real nice start! Boy does that look familiar 8-)
Take your time and don't rush it, smuth everything out with a file, then sand with a dry piece of wet/sandpaper, very, very fine!
Also make sure you sand the body before priming and give it a good
primer coat cause the decals will bleed thru, been there!
