Yo guys... here's my newest car...

Black primer is just acrylic black... front bumper/side skirt(red) primer is a mixture of black and brown acrylics.. grey primer is actual grey primer... and the driver's door(yes it's painted) is a mixture of yellow and red, purposely made to look tacky! Whole car is sanded down a lot lol... I think it turned out great!

Did you use testors paint to simulate the mud or something else?

All acrylics... custom mix... I used red and yellow for the orange, then wanted to see what other colors I could make, so I added brown and came up with a perfect mud color!

That's nice, midgetman. I like cars that look sorta real and weathered, especially one like that. You need to vacuum, though. :-)

yeah man, i'm digging this one too! my only critisism is that the brown paint on the wheels and tyres is a little too much, i'd try rubbing some off. but not all of it if you get what i mean. still a hard looking car!

Here's my application to MTV's "Pimp My Ride"

Hey, MTV. My name is Brian, but my homies call me midget man. I just bought this car for $200, which was all the money I own. I can't even afford to wash the car. The guy I bought it from only took these pictures because he felt sorry for me.

The driver's side fender is grey primer, and the door was painted with a poorly matching orange. The rear quarterpanel has had some bondo work. The hood is painted with black primer, and has a hood scoop. it is very dirty and grimey.

Image

Every part of the body that is not in primer is faded. The front bumper and side skirt on this side are both painted in red primer. The rear quarterpanel also has had some body work.

Image

The rear wing is afermarket and painted black, to match the trunk lid. and the rear quarter also has some red primer colord body work behind the wheel...

Image

So, overall, my car has 6 different colors on it and no interior. it runs fast and great, but none of my homies will ever roll with me in this car!

Please MTV!! Please Pimp My Ride!
