If you didn't know how much of an asshole SuperFly is...
Check out what he built us while I've been on my mini hiatus...

Holy fuckin' shit, eh? With friends like SuperFly, who needs other
friends? I tried to do these justice, but I gotta say they really look
much better in person. They're fucking perfect. These are obviously
custom painted and have custom decals, but are also tab lowered,
have spring suspension, KIT Racer gears and wheels, 4.2 kings
and mosfets... these are the cars we'll show up with anytime, anywhere
and do some tag-team ass kickin' with... we're gonna practice kicking
ass in formation and take this shit on the road...

My gawwwwd that sounds stupid fast! I guess you're gonna be getting what? 30 seconds runtime with a monster setup like that?hue35 wrote:KIT Racer gears and wheels, 4.2 kings

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Actually FETs increase runtime. Given that the battery has a good charge, I get about 20-30 minute runtimes with the same setup, but I have to take breaks because the motor does get hotNamuna wrote:My gawwwwd that sounds stupid fast! On a single cell fetted set up with kit gears, my motors don't get that hot. I noticed they'll get hot faster if there is a bad connection from the bottum of the motor to the tab on the bottum of the motor compartment (or on the end bell for that matter). This has happened in a few of my cars. The metal tab seems to give out after some wear. It just needs to be pushed up a little and cleaned with an eraser.
I don't know if this relates to your problem, but it might be worth a look. Even my dual cells with fets and kit racer gears don't destroy notors that quick. I use 3.8's and they usually last about a month or two, sometimes six. And then all they do is slow down a little. Some of the other motors die pretty fast though. Especially tomy motors.

Cause I ride around town on my low-rider bicycle.

Those cars are friggin HOT! Honestly though, I thing SF had alternative motives here Hugh. I think he wanted 2 stupid fast cars that were exactly the same so he could race ya and win on skill alone w/ no excuses.
None of that, oh that shell is lighter, or those tires run better
. @SF man I gotta switch Portlands and get into your good graces.

Wow.... and... ummm... Wow...
I thought being how beat I am had me seeing double.
Holy shit! Those are awesome... I picture a can of whoop-ass being opened, and those being inside... ready to whoop some asses.
That is a really cool shade of green, and the flat black just sets it off... The killer decals are just the icing on top...
