went to pick up the shelby, saw this, and said what the hell, might as well get it. of course it sits too high so here it is sitting about as low as it can go. and yeah, i know it has the wrong wheels on it.

sweet... complete with the ride height and hubcaps from a '81 AMC Eagle. Nice work, Radio Shack.

Meh, I don't share the same enthusiasm.
It looks okay, but they've made way better bodies.
The front end just looks super bus chunky, nothing like an NSX.
The roof is way too Thunderbirds are go bubbley, nothing like an NSX.
The tail lights don't look like any NSX I've ever seen.
The shell barely even looks sporty in my opinion.
My grade: piss poor job RadioShack.

Totally agree with CW it looks nothing like a NSX but the lines.. The front end is to bulky and tall, the tail lights are head lights are wrong.. The roof is messed up and its to damn tall..

ok, it's not perfect, but it's something to keep this hobby going. you can give radioshack bad grades for body selection (nsx, viper, etc.), and i do, but at least they're still releasing new stuff. i sense this whole tomy vs zz thing going on here. correct me if i'm wrong, but tomy pack thier bags over a year ago with the super bcgs. radio shack is still plugging away at it; making improvements to the se performance and releasing new bodies. and i could be wrong, but it doesn't look like they will be closing shop any time soon. looking at the new motor endbell with the different contacts and the new motor clip, it looks like a new chassis design may be in the works (or why else change anything).
as a collector i'm just happy to see new things introduced.

Not from here, that's just my honest opinion on that shell.
Hell I've got several ZZs from gen 1 on to the MTs.
I've said bad things about bit bodies... like the headlights on an Accord.
I'm happy to see RadioShack still producing.
But not shitty products, that only helps to turn people off the hobby, especially the ones just getting introduced to it.
Anyways, I'm sticking to my guns on this one.
Kinda neat body, but overall it still looks nothing like an NSX.
Edit: Might look good as a prototype drop top
Edit2: Also, to be clear, my disclaimer for this thread:
My words are not meant as an attack on richh, RadioShak, or anyone for that matter.
Just my own personal opinion on the likeness of the shell to a scale NSX.

It's alright, just a little to tall for a NSX, I like the color aswell.

The H2 wheels gotta go though. It's prime for an Import Tuner wheel mod. I agree that RS could have done a better job, but I still want one.

It's Auight! It's just goin by the same design as most of the other RS bodies, Bulky fronts, rears and tall pillars.(GT40) It only looks appropriate on the non-SE Muscle Cars.

Yeah.. I think, personally, radioshack should be more to scale.. But they are doing a fantastic job on xmod bodys which u cant complain about!

I think RS is scaled better than most Micros out there. It's just hard for them to reproduce any low styled sports car, they all sit high on the chassis, just that low styles really show it more.
