OK, I finally got some footage of me romping my 04 outside. I think it came out pretty good, but I don't know, my wife shot it, and I haven't gone through it all yet.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to get the hang of Adobe Premiere. So I took some outtakes of some footage I shot indoors when I was draining off my batteries, to experiment with.

Premiere rocks, my system can barely handle it, but that's ok because my crappy digicam movies look so much better.

Anyways here it is:

I'm still laughing at driving over you kid. That could actually turn dangerous, ramping right in to his nose - ouch! lol

I'm also more impressed with the I-waver now that I'm seeing some close video.

Hmm, i always thought they were slower, so i opted for a PNS04 and some li-polys.. Guess it will be to fast! :-)

It actually did go slightly wrong on the first try. I thunked him in the face. I thought, "Oh shit", but he was laughing and yelling for me to do it again.

So I had him put his face down, and cover it with his hands. When he rolled over on his back, I lined it all up on the edge of the carpet first. Basically, I was real careful, that is my kid after all.

Yeah, probably too fast.

Seriously, I just got the Iwaver X-speed, and a bearing set, and this is quick enough for me. I think unless I got some stickier tires, it wouldn't have a enough traction to control if it was any faster. You don't get to see it run more than a foot in this vid, with half dead batteries. Wait until you see me open it up outdoors. I'm gonna be getting that footage edited together over the next few day.

Nice vid D. I never thought of having my kid fill in as a jump. She wouldn't do it now that she's a "pre teenager" its just not cool to play with dads toys.

dude, haven't you seen ph2t's lipo madforce?? it sounds like a harrier jump jet and was ridiculously fast. pretty much undriveable at full throttle.

I never would have thought of it either. It was his idea.

I've been waiting for the day we could play with RCs together, but I didn't quite picture it like this.

Dude, ph2ts car scares me. I think of it everytime I drive mine, and think, "Man, that thing must be insane."

I thought I remembered him mentioning it would flop right on it back if he nailed full throttle off the line. :???:
