OFFRoaders (updated)
Mad props to you pimps. The vehicles i'm seeing
on this board. very helpfull.
i've been busy ( Engaged in activity, as work; occupied.)=no time for fabrications.sad but true.
so i updated the Monster Eclipse: a little gear and little body work. VERY llittle time spent.
thanx to all the info i got around here.
result is more then satisfactory to me. have a look

the need to mod does not go away. the best i could come up with was this

slap some nail laquer paint wait 5 min and high gloss it. damn it runs great. lots of fun to navigate this thing.
it's a fuckin' tiny, little bitsy moth...... it's very capable.
few more pics up in the gallery

and few pics of the blue monster

That's a rough n tough lookin' shell.
The sirens, grills, fenders, etc. seems like it would be overkill on a Zip or Bit, but looks just friggin badass on that MT.
(i'm sure that was your intention)
A guy can add this kind of flare to a body intended for a ZZMT, and it never detracts, only adds character.
It adds SO much character, too. A stock body ZZMT is just a ZZMT, but your says "i'm ready to get dirty and i mean business".
I love it. I'm on my way to your gallery.

I had that same problem. I cut the tread, and removed about an 1/8th inch. Then I superglued them back together. Superglue bonds superbly to rubber.midget_man1387 wrote:Is that a motorworks tank? I've got one and its fun except the treads on it are too large so it doesn't turn because the tread stays and the wheels spin...
They were a little too tight after that, I had to stretch them out until they were perfect.
That's ironic ynad, I took picture of my modded tank at night too. It was because I wanted to take them outside, but it was night, and I couldn't wait, but I thought it made a cool spacy effect. Brought out the red clay in our soil, and made it look like Mars.
I hopped mine up with FETs and a SE dual cell. Pretty damn quick, for a tank and all. With a Microspeed stunt car controller, you can spin the treads opposite directions, and do nutty fast 360s. I'd make ya'll a cool ass vid of it, but I lost my idler gears when it was apart, somehow.

I gotta get another one of those.

this one is a show tank. the other one takes the beating. it's fully satisfactory with one batt

Some time has past. I'll recycle this post.
My tank got upgraded to all new suspension - articulating weel mounts.
Well, actually it's work in progress, but you can get the idea.
midget_man1387 and crazydave , you guys might want to cosider this mod for your tanks.
Now the pics.

shit, looking at these bring back GOOD memories!
