That's a rough n tough lookin' shell. :-o

The sirens, grills, fenders, etc. seems like it would be overkill on a Zip or Bit, but looks just friggin badass on that MT.
(i'm sure that was your intention)
A guy can add this kind of flare to a body intended for a ZZMT, and it never detracts, only adds character.

It adds SO much character, too. A stock body ZZMT is just a ZZMT, but your says "i'm ready to get dirty and i mean business".

I love it. I'm on my way to your gallery.

Thank you MotorGong. You nailed it . simple outline of what I tried to make.
Betty, that tank is the shit. it crawls it's way through anything. I remember you got some TANKS.
and now more pics of the Tanko.

Ynad, the details you added were perfect, like mg said, on that MT it doesn't look overdone, looks like a mean rig. Good job :-o

nice offroaders ynad. Is that a motorworks tank? I've got one and its fun except the treads on it are too large so it doesn't turn because the tread stays and the wheels spin...

tanks are totally under rated! i'm only running my big one with the camera at the moment but it gets the most use of all my rc's.
(in fact it's sitting in the garden watching the driveway as i type! )

I had that same problem. I cut the tread, and removed about an 1/8th inch. Then I superglued them back together. Superglue bonds superbly to rubber.

They were a little too tight after that, I had to stretch them out until they were perfect.

That's ironic ynad, I took picture of my modded tank at night too. It was because I wanted to take them outside, but it was night, and I couldn't wait, but I thought it made a cool spacy effect. Brought out the red clay in our soil, and made it look like Mars.

I hopped mine up with FETs and a SE dual cell. Pretty damn quick, for a tank and all. With a Microspeed stunt car controller, you can spin the treads opposite directions, and do nutty fast 360s. I'd make ya'll a cool ass vid of it, but I lost my idler gears when it was apart, somehow.

I gotta get another one of those. :???:

Thanks for the tips CD. Dual cell without fets upgrade is still insainly fast.

midget_man1387, they are motorworks tanks. Try and fix it , you will be guaranteed hours of enjoyment.
I'll quote Betty

It was a blast at the beginning and then they stretched or somethin..

midget_man1387, here it is.
batts are upright. you'll need to make room for the batts(cut some plastic)
can't show anymore, the whole thing is glued. also small plug is fitted upfront

might be kinda stupid, but what's the plug for?

by ynad
 the idea was to seal holes. i had this plug and it found its place.
this one is a show tank. the other one takes the beating. it's fully satisfactory with one batt :-)

Some time has past. I'll recycle this post.
My tank got upgraded to all new suspension - articulating weel mounts.
Well, actually it's work in progress, but you can get the idea.
midget_man1387 and crazydave , you guys might want to cosider this mod for your tanks.
Now the pics.
