Just another wheel mod, with muscle
I picked up a couple of these Hot Wheels cars at TRU a couple of weeks ago, they were in the 30% pile.
I used the wheels from one so far, on this ride....

They were VERY easy to install. They already had a hole in them.
I'm currently working on lowering the front end.

Yea, those do look badass.
Good to hear they got some grip too, I've always thought most of those wheels were straight up slick-ass plastic.

Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

That looks like it came from one of those 100% Hot wheels sets and they have what they call Real Riders on them those have some tread and are rubber not slick plastic. (Unless I am wrong on this one I have been known to be wrong on occasion)!CaboWabo wrote:Yea, those do look badass.

How many miles can I really need on a ZZ?betty.k wrote:i've seen this done on 1:10 tourers. you generally apply it 15 - 20 mins before a race. it will kill your tyres quicker but they're much tackier after a freash application.I think someone suggested using WD-40 to soften them up a little somewhere.

I think the WD-40 starts dissolving them, so it's a matter of time, not miles.sg219 wrote:How many miles can I really need on a ZZ?betty.k wrote:i've seen this done on 1:10 tourers. you generally apply it 15 - 20 mins before a race. it will kill your tyres quicker but they're much tackier after a freash application.I think someone suggested using WD-40 to soften them up a little somewhere.
