Pretty sweet! Not quite sure I see the "urban" part of it, but I guess just having gold spokes might be.
I love the Cherokee body, where did you get it?!?! I've been trying to find one of those for several months. What'd ya make the winch out of?

Thanx Pimps! It didn't turn out as well as I wanted but WTF!! I actually did this when we started our Truck Contest to enter as an "unofficial" so you see how long I've been sittin on it
Tuner 1989:
No, didn't loose my job (thank goodness), just been sittin on 'em for a while!
Frizzen:
The body came from the BigLots Micro Speed body set. It's not quite a JeeP, looks like a JeeP/Hummer combo that's why I call it a "JeePster"
The winch is a part of a Lego Pistol (Safari), I cut/filed the handle off ans went from there.
Still got some more stuff I need to finish but with Xmas right around the corner, they'll hafta wait

I like it, I guess it actually does look more like a Jeep instead of the Hummer it was intended. Pretty cool how you saw that in it, but one thing that's bothering me. Why the big "P" in the word Jeep, DT? There's gotta be some kind of rationalization behind that... or you just messing with my head?

I dig what you did with that, DT. It looks like the Orvis Edition, hehe.
Didn't the word "Jeep" have it's origins in WWII, as the pronunciation of the abbreviation "General Purpose" vehicle?

Pretty sure it did come from the GPV millitary designation; though there's a story that there was a cartoon character "Eugene the Jeep" introduced in '36 in the popeye comic strip, who was like able to predict the future and go through walls and crap, and there's a theory is that the cartoon character had something to do with the name. blah blah blah, god frizzen is a boring f*ck. anyway, you might be interested in this thread hijack
