Microsizer Lancer Evolution. Rally paint scheme. I just tossed it on a stock 49mhz chassis for the pics.

Fresh out of paint booth. All I've done so far detailing was translucent red on the tail-lights.

Nice paint job. Those are some really vibrant colors, what did you use?

Maxximum Attack, all the MS lancer bodies I've seen had some degree of sunken plastic on the spoiler supports. This one was worse than most, so rather than fill it, I drilled. Besides, it's weight savings.

I don't remember which silver I used as my base, but I ended up using Dupli-Color Metalcast for the kandies.

The green and the purple remind me of early HotWheels color and finish... the ones from the 60's. Not the paint scheme, just the paint.

The ones from this era:

Looks good. :-o

Good call Hue. I'd even go as far to say some of the ones we played with in the 70s had similar colors.

Yeah, I guess the Kandy paints have kinda gone out of fasion. What can I say, I'm either old and like the classics; or I'm just a little kid who likes bright primary and secondary colors.

If I really were doing the 60's / 70's thing, I would have had to do it more like a metallic with HUGE flakes.

Sorry they're a little foggy, cam lives inside with A/C; pics taken outside with hot and high humidity. Didn't bother to allow temperature stabilization.
