After so many nights tinkering on the steering mechanism which probably many of you pimps know how to do. I skip the search button and saved me many hours to play CS and do this...

Image

Batman trusted me to spill the beans about the special steering setup.

So pics are coming shortly, for all to know what a wonderful experience it is to be a pimp with few resources at hand and plenty of imagination to boot!

Hope this will inspire many pimps to come out and do their role: to find more ways to level up the playing field and stay logged in here at BitPimps instead of staying in other forums.

And to floss more rides for our viewing pleasure!

Try some nail polish remover, or else you might just have to tough it out and take the skin off with it. Be more careful with that superglue, it can be dangerous.

Initial work after the intro:

attached the mandible arm metal version. The white items are the plastic, much older technology.

I will proceed to road testing once i perfected the steering arm, those copper wires that pulls/pushes the wheels for directions.

I added the two rear wheels from my pullback chassis. It was originally intended for a swamper type wheels but can't find with the right diameter and rubber consistency.

Between the front wheela you can find the smaller cockpit portion. My initial body fabrication.

Thanks DT!

I have to work hard on this particular piece. It looks simple but when i tested it, i can't get any reaction from the steering. I have to use another chassis.

It's a long way to go and it has already spawned a lot more ideas for my future projects. All of them much more crazy than this. One at a time i said to myself.

Hopefully you're using non-magnetic pieces in your steering mechanism........?
Looks like aluminum & copper to me but I can't be sure????

Yup, It's aluminum or plastic. I will replace the steering arm with plastic as well.

Thanks SWG! I almost ended up using stock chassis setup with its normal steering and just concentrate with the body works. But i figured it will not do well in the competition.

Looking pretty sick man! Doesn't the dual cell mod add better response in the steering? But I couldn't imagine where it would go :-o
