Pecker Wrecker new update

Post by steelwoolghandi »

I have not done anything with a Zip Zap for a while so wanted to work with a Zip Zap for the Contest here are some pictures of the wrecker and details. I did not want to post work in progress pictures in the contest forum so though I would post them here.

The Pecker Wrecker!!

I think to date this is my most detailed bit and my wife says that this one is by far her favorite.

This is a Zip Zap Chevy Wrecker (Tow Truck)
List of details include:
Custom chrome wheels front and back. Duel wheels on the back and the front are Alclad chrome wheels from the tow mater Zip Zap.
Scratch built wench on the front with custom brush and push guard.
The back has a moving lift and movable wheel bar at the bottom and the wench in the back also is scale and works!
The little tow wheels in the back are removable and so are the gas can, toolbox and chain.
The bed in the back is made out of scale diamond plate (tried to get a close up picture of that.
Custom scratch built hydraulic levers, fire extinguisher and emergency lights.
The decals are all custom scale decals including the one on the fire extinguisher!
The body comes off all in one piece from the Zip Zap chassis and the duel wheels do not slow it done one bit.
The hooks are from fishing hooks and are removable

Huge props dude. That thing is awesome. :-o
Dear Life Cereal, Where do you get off? Part of a balanced breakfast and delicious? Who do you think you are? By now you may have guessed I'm speaking ironically and have nothing but good things to say about what you do. Life cereal do not change a thing.

Wow, man... that's just nuts. I'd love to see it in action... when you come by to steal the room, bring that with ya.
