JEEZUSS!! That's the cleanest bit body work I've seen... the progress pics look 1:1. Wow man, I'm not a Mercedes guy at all, and that's still my favorite car you've built (which is saying a shitload)... clean, understated and perfectly executed.

Thank you all for the kind words....to answer CD, I did nothing to the wheel centers, for they were perfect to begin with, I just looked for a color that would complement the gold, which green does nicely :-)

That was your pimp instincts right there... "green for the money, gold for the honeys"...

Beautiful ride Hiroto, absolutely beautiful.

I think the only two colors I'd actually prefer with gold are that Emerald Green, or like a Burgandy. Deep colors work good with gold, but I'd still prefer chrome with like say a Royal Blue.

I thought of doing black origionaly, but I like the green with that shape shell. It was the only one that fit the wheels out of the 40 or so shells I have.
Since spring is coming, i'm starting to work on my car for the autox and circuit fun. I'm also hoping to be done before Waterfest (huge Vdub show)

I might have some new stuff during fall/ winter...... :-)
