That's a metric shitload of carbon fiber. I really want those seats and harness system.
And for another fast V-dub: HPA's VW Beetle RSi clone, making 428whp, earned third place in Sport Compact Car's annual Ultimate Street Car Shootout. It beat a FD3S RX-7 with a 500+whp LS7(clone) V8 shoehorned in, and a Lotus Elise with a supercharged K20A. Many say it could have one the whole event, had the front differential not broken in a way none had ever seen. It was also a contender at the '06 Lap of America.
It can be seen here at HPA's website, with an overview of the modifications made.
