Radio Shack along with Harper Motorsports (Carolina Crusher) will air a new television commercial this fall. The commercial features the Carolina Crusher monster truck throughout Radio Shack’s new product line of Zip Zaps. The Radio Shack Zip Zaps feature authentic monster truck paint schemes in 1:64th scale. Filming for the commercial took place in the Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas area early last week. Although the shooting only took a few hours it required a lot of hard work by many.
Four of the new Zip Zaps include Monster Patrol, Bigfoot, The Hulk and Spiderman. The photo to the right are of pre-production models created by Mikes Hobby Shop Superstore in Carrollton, Texas.
As of now a date has not been set on the actual release date for the Radio Shack commercial. A release date on when the Zip Zap trucks will launch for retail sale is also unknown at this time.
Circle R media was the company responsible for the Radio Shack commercial shoot. Circle R media is located in Fort Worth, Texas.

BTW: When was this added to the ZipZaps glossery at zipzaps.com?

Scale -
This refers to the size of the miniature vehicle (model) in relationship to its real, full-sized complement. Since the normal size of a 4-wheel monster truck is far bigger than a Honda Civic, their scaled counterparts will have this equal relationship. In other words, a 1/10th scale monster truck will still be bigger than a 1/10th scale Honda Civic.

time to start selling plasma.
Where do ya go to sell that shit. I'm O+ and a poor college student. I hear the RedCross likes that combination.
Later,

Its really not worth it. They only give you like $40 the first time and $20 each time after. Your better off whoreing yourself out to convicts, or maybe certain other creepy fucks that lurk the internet and post on RC sites, for money.

I go on vacation....and look at the shit I miss....and I do mean SHIT.
I knew it was too much to think RS might reconfigure the SE chasis to do that Viper body some justice. Its the same problem that makes '05 Mustang look like total shit. This is a low-slung sports car that just doesn't fit on the SE chasis...so they make the fenders and quarter panels taller and totally out of proportion. The result is something totally pointless.
I'm down with Superfly....RS, if you aren't going to reconfigure the chasis to make these sports cars work, then give me a Monte Carlo (preferably a 60's model),or a Cutlass, or other car models that can fit the current chasis... instead of a sports car that looks like ass.
Monster trucks look promising.

I think the biggest problem with all RS bodies is that they snub the the nose off too short, then the bottom of the front end is always way too high. That why I always liked to put air dams on my Zip Zap bodies, just to get the front end as low as the rest the body.
Now if the just did like the newer Tomy cars, and extended the front end, also eliminating the front slot as a by-product. Then they would at least look better, and be easier for us to lower.
I think it's sad that Tomy can take that tiny short wheelbased, totally unscaled chassis, with 2 different sizes wheels, and make a somewhat realistic car, just slightly distorted proportions, in kinda cool way, meanwhile RS is over here with a longer, more proportional chassis, that has so much more potential, yet they blow it at every corner. Just when they produce a few winners, they gotta go a blow it again.
So anyways, I want a monster truck. I hope those are cool.
