Oh just shoosh.Sdog wrote:Heh....funny guy.
Anyway....its a third generation SE. You are gonna love it. They are damn fast right out of the box and the steering radius is a bit tighter than previous SE's.
I keep buying SEs, because they keep improving them, and I keep killing them, I really really don't want to buy another.
...but you're tempting me.

This is the way the SE should have run all along. Now, if they could just work on getting a lower profile chassis

Its a little annoying that I have all of these other previous generation SE's that just aren't as good. All of my other SE's sit on the shelf looking pretty while I run this new one to hell. I have to admit though....I'd probably keep buying them once in a while if they continue to improve them.
BOURBON TIME OUT!

To this day, I STILL don't own an SE, or even an og ZZ for that matter. Sure, I've come close several times, but I always walk out of RS w/o one. I guess my first experience with RS cars left me burned and bitter.crazydave wrote:I keep buying SEs, because they keep improving them, and I keep killing them, I really really don't want to buy another....but you're tempting me.
So anyway CD, what do you mean by "killing" them? Are they dying firey deaths, or are you just running them in to the ground? Been thinking about trying SE's again...

@ Hog...To messy. The real thing cleans herself up.hogjowlz wrote:screw that dude get a blow up doll. same money and more fun.

I'm still partial to the OgZz. I just like the simplicity of them.
Edit: I meant the Superslick controller with the OgZZ. Brain-fart.

The only time I ever drive my ZzSe, is when I break out the SuperSlick controller for it. If you have a SS controller, try it with your ZzSe.

Well long story short, numbers hurt my head.mikirgra wrote:So anyway CD, what do you mean by "killing" them? Are they dying firey deaths, or are you just running them in to the ground? Been thinking about trying SE's again...
Slightly longer version of the story. I don't experiment with electronics the proper way and go through with a multimeter to see what everything is up to. I do it the by the more primitive method of trial and error, and you're only gonna be able to take things apart and put them back together again so many times before you start to make a mess out of things, but that's just the way my brain understand things.
I also killed one doing an uphill test after cyborgzero's voltage bypass mod. I left it at a dead stall too long, and it got really hot and fried something.

***Double post, but with a different "NEW ITEM FROM RS"***
I picked one of these TINY RC cars up at RS today. These things kick ass for being so tiny.
http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?c ... d=60-1267#

CAR
Bit motor
Button cell
On/Off switch
Steering in reverse
CONTROLLER
Infra-red control
Belt/pocket clip (simulated steering wheel)
Magnet to hold car on when not in play
A pen
3 orange pylons (the tip of the pen comes apart to make them)
On/Off Switch
4 channel switch
3 buttons cells
Separate...A tiny, tiny, screwdriver.
All for $9.99
You can park it on a 50cent peice with room to spare.
@ $10 bucks, its worth it.
Make the RS guy or girl open one up and let you try it out. If they say no, hit'em like a basketball fan. I did. I bought one.
It goes over the indoor/outdoor carpet that they have in most RS stores with no problem and will rumble around on some thick shag too.
My cats are pretty nutz when I'm with Bits and Xmods, but with this tiny thing....one cat attacked it and tried to kill it and eat it.

Ahhh, The Hog, just like a broken clock...Pretty much worthless most of the time but on the rare occasion it's right.hogjowlz wrote:screw that dude get a monster truck. same money and more fun.
- 4x4
- Clip the steering rods and this thing'll go over all kinds of shit
- Rides on Carpet, Dirt, Grass!
- Hair? What of it? The MT fears NO hair!
The ZZMT is your Daddy, your Mommy and your live-in Lover. Whereas the SE is just a sexy Aunt.
