I hope some of you Pimps caught "Pimp My Ride" tonight!
They actually Pimp'd an AMC PACER !!!!!! Yes the 70s Green House!
And if you saw it, you'd swear "Cabo & Silla" did the paint job.
It was "faded" with a Pearl Cinnamon into a Sunshine Yellow
with Silver Shooting Stars on the front and sides.
Custom Front body kit, yellow "shag" carpeting on the floors,
ceiling and doors. And of course all the other wheel, stereo and
special goodies (juicer).

Ohhh man, I almost just missed that. I saw this post, and turned around and changed the channel just in time to catch the last 6 minutes, the best part.

I did like that. Taking a car that most people truly would not give the time of day, and making something really cool out of it. I'd rate that as the second best next to the debut episode with that Daihatsu.

That car was a real POS, it had a mountain of Rat Shit under the seats and dash. And what was real fuck'd up, when they pulled out the dash, there was a LIVE RAT and a big azz one at that hiding in there, freak'd they azz out !!!!!

Yeah, the Malibu wasn't bad. Actually it seems in more recent episodes, they've got less gimicky, and more full on car show quality cars.
They aint Chip Foose, but they're getting better.

Chip Foose ? Is that a show where they TOTALLY build out cars ? Dude at the gym was talkin about that earlier this week. What station?

It’s on the Discovery Channel I think normally Thursday or Friday nights. They re-do the entire car in about 5 days.

There is also a new show on Discovery it was on last night where they try out all the top cars such as Mclaren and such it’s a sweet show!

DT, if you haven't seen this show, watch it. You'll forget all about Pimp My Ride.

They steal the person's car, and while the guy is freaking out, they make it over in a week. Unlike PMR, they tear the whole car down, and rebuild it from the ground up. Before its done, Chip draws up a rendering of what it will look like. He is an amazing artist, but his real gift is how he has all the details from every car memorized, and he'll pull in details from other cars sometimes. Like one time when he put '56 Bel Air headlights and bumpers on a '55 Chevy pickup.

Chip Foose is the master...... His dad was, but has passed it on to Chip...

The ride he did for Titus was so fuckin off the hook... Anybody catch that one. Does all the metal work by hand, and then builds an exact duplicate for the other side... Wicked...
