I don't know about all of that... I mean, yeah people have complained about the spur getting eaten up by dirt, but there is a fix available for that, so that's kinda moot...
Being that it is, for all intents and purposes, a shrunk down TC3 chassis... I don't see why not... I'm really surprised that they haven't released a touring version with shorter arms, shock towers, and shocks yet...
I've always wanted an RC18, even more so since the nats, but I have always been distracted by other shit, and could never decide which to get if I did decide to get... this version makes that easy for me... I'll be getting that Lancer for sure...
...but not 'til I get me a Micro-T first

That's the point of a business. To make money.
Hobby shops always like to stock associated because they don't change their platform a lot, meaning their cars share a lot of parts in common, and the LHSs don't get stuck with a bunch of old stock with every new fad.
This is a bonus to us, the consumer, because we can buy one car, and with just a few parts we can also have a stadium truck, a monster truck, a buggy, or a rally car.
I'm not particularly interested in the rally car, but if I was gonna get an 1/18th scale to race I think it would be the RC18, and its nice to know there is options out there for it.
