If you get out of your contract don't go with Alltel. They fucking suck, my text never works nor does the acces apps. and the service is straight shit, I can get better quality with 2 paper cups and a string.

This one didn't work for me when I moved 3 hours out of Cingulars coverage area..... was still cheaper to pay the fee than pay for the months of service. Fucking contracts.Get off the grid. Study your provider's coverage map and find a town (maybe in Alaska?) with absolutely no service. Then tell the company you're moving there. They're not legally required to cut you loose, but frustrated consumers have reported success.

I did that recently with my provider. Told them to prduce a contract. they said well its verbal I said then sue me.
Two days later I got a call. Cancelled no termination fee and now I am happy.
I also did this for my satilite service. The would not let me change my box out for a higher priced one ( loss for them) and they wanted to charge me $75.00 for installation becasue its a rental unit and needs PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION? I mean ok installing the whole satilight dish/cables through walls etc may be harder for some but what dumb fuck cannot plug in a cable wire and a power cable??
SOrry kinda needs to be in the FUCK OFFS but...
