cheap kit racer gears
I was at KB Toys in the mall last night and I say the KIT racers on sale. 2 for $5. Plus all there stuff made by hotwheels is on discount, so it actually worked out to be $2 per kit racer. Not a bad deal if you're looking for KIT gears. They had cars that used 4:1 and 3:1. There is two different kinds of 3:1's. One's suppose to have a higher top end speed. Haven't checked that yet. Anybody know if the two different 3:1 gears are actually different. I wouldn't think they would be.

Yes, they are all different, and I would be willing to pay or trade for you to pick me up some. The gears are the all-imortant part in the kits. The blue ones are the shortest, being a fairly good step up from the teal bit charge gears. The middle one is red, and work great with dual-cells, but are just a little lacking in torque with just mosfets. The green Kit racer gear is pretty dang tall, and pretty much useless unless you have at least 20' of open space to run it. In my opinion, the blue ones are the most useful, with the red ones not being too bad at all if you have a lot of room. Some of the red geared kits come with rubber front tires(and are my favorite front tires), which is also a plus to get matching front wheels (see the Supras I made in "flossin". I'm gonna run out to KB now and see if they have anymore.

Yeah, I recently put a set of 4:1 gears in with a fetted board and ZZSE batts. I love the way it runs.
I think all KIT gears are best suited in a car with fets and duall cells (or more).
Toys R' Us has them too for about $4~5 a pop. Which is still better than the original price.
I'll take a look. I want to pick up some more myself, but I could probably pick up some extra. They only had four when I went. I need to get my stock up. I don't know when these will be discontinued. Maybe soon, since the price is so low. I think they're trying to clear them out in time for Chistmas.

I saw some more at K-bee toys again. This time I got 4 for $5. I would have gotten more but that's all they had. They seem to get new shipments every now and then. It's probably just old stock they're circulating throughout the states until it's sold off.
