Dell Axim X30 624MHz
If any of you guys are in the market for a kickass PocketPC, this thing's got SICK specs (624MHz, Bluetooh, WiFi, etc...).
The MSRP on it is $349, but If you search around, there's a 20% off coupon that brings the cost down to around $279.
...Well, I worked my Mojo today and bought one for $237.33
If you're serious about getting one, PM me and I'll fill you in on how to get the same deal I did.

Yup, I've got an old Audiovox Maestro PPC (with the 205MHz processor).
Damned thing chokes HARD trying to setup navigation when I try to use my Bluetooth GPS with it.
So I'm basically updating to get some GPS action, I have ZERO clue about finding my way around man...Not to mention all the other cool shit in the newer model. SEXY!

Dude man, I wish I could be proud of being an Electronicsphile, but it's a goddamned SICKNESS I tell you!SuperFly wrote:Namuna, you are so fuckin' wired, it's sick. What electronic toy do you NOT have?

When I key in on something I want, I'll pretty much disregard just about everything else until; 1. I find the absolute cheapest possible price, 2. It don't matter if I'm into dept up to my eyeballs, the thing is getting bought.
And I'm always promising myself..."Okay, all I NEED is this one last thing, then I don't need to buy anything else for at least a few months!" But then I find out about something else, within a week or 2, and all of a sudden I NEED that too!
Hello, my name is Namuna and I'm an Electronics-aholic.

Well I'm gonna start using your sickness to my advantage.....you know any good deals on learning remotes? I'm planning on doing some x-10 home automation stuff....in addition to controlling my home theater system and plan on getting a kick ass remote to run it all. I'm not really interested in a strictly touch screen interface. I want lots of hard buttons. The home theater master 500 looks pretty good...but thought you might have some ideas. Yes, I know you can use a pda, with the right software, to do this....but not sure I want to go that direction.Namuna wrote:Dude man, I wish I could be proud of being an Electronicsphile, but it's a goddamned SICKNESS I tell you!SuperFly wrote:Namuna, you are so fuckin' wired, it's sick. Sorry dude, I've been using a Phillips Pronto (pure touchscreen) remote. But I can recommend, if you haven't been there already, a solid Forum for remote info at http://www.remotecentral.comSdog wrote: Well I'm gonna start using your sickness to my advantage.....you know any good deals on learning remotes?
