It is capable of discharging individual cells until the voltage matches perfectly, *AND* it can go inline between your charger and the pack to charge the cells balanced! .5mV!!! woot.

The Hyperion LBA6 cell balancer is the most advanced li-poly cell balancer / safety charge circuit on the market today. The LBA6 can be used to condition and balance your li-poly packs and also as a charge protection device if used with standard li-poly chargers. The LBA6 cell balancer will prevent your packs from ever going into a unbalanced state and greatly increase their cycle life ensuring they are always performing at their peak.
The LBA6 can be used as a stand alone device, able to balance your packs with no external power or may used as a pass-through balancer by using your current li-poly charge to charge through it.
