anyone else used "plastex"?
have a look around the site.
http://plastex.home.att.net/
there are some pretty large claims about what it can do and i'm happy to report it's all true!
it's not often you see this level of dedication to a product that's so good.
i got the small 5g kit from a friend who heard of it through the motorbike scene.
came with a huge colour instruction manual, and even an instructional video on cd!
but the best part is it works like advertised.
i used it in a plastic gearbox for my tank. i had put it together and forgot to lube 2 gears. under load the gears melted through the gear mounting! doh!
but i was able to use plastex to rebuild the plastic, and file it back to original specs.
so there's a gear rotating on the repaired area and it's like the damage was never there!
this shit really is a plastic factory in a box!
use many, buy lots
