Ran it once, it felt grainy, like there was crud in there.cj wrote: Have you made any adjustments to the diff while in the car yet?
(almost thought it was defective)
Took it apart, cleaned and regreased with some xmod grease, re-assembled and tightened it outside of car to where it felt good in my hand.
After running through the first set of batteries I had to tighten it up some more, added a tiny drop of loctite thru the short end. it's been through 4 sets of batteries tonite. Holding up fine.
FYI, the allen/hex wrench needed is 1.5mm
"the easy route"
you could swing one of the knuckles aside and adjust in-car..but..
if you have used loctite/threadlocker, you will need to secure both ends of
the diff, which would be placing the dogbone/short cup under stress as you
adjust it. The gearbox cover is only two screws.

CJ, can you please ship me ASAP all the parts you have in stock for my order please!!!!
It's been way to long now man (6+ months?) and I know that GPM is to blame for the majority of it but the bottom line is that I paid close to $100 for parts mate and I have didly squat. Whilst I know it was an opportunity to get GPM EVO stuff at a discount price and also have the hope of gettin git early. Now both of those factors are mute since I don't have anything...
Please man, PLEASE send me what you have. And this time, please let me KNOW when the stuff has gone....
Anything outstading (fuck knows or cares anymore) please juet keep it.
ph2t.

I wonder if it's because they're THAT backed up on filling orders...Or that they're THAT incompetent with taking care of customers.
...Probably both.
I'm tempted to contact my old step-dad (he's a machinist/engineer) to see what the startup costs would be to setup shop to make alloy parts
