I'm still keen for the offroaders.
Frizzen, what do ya reckon is the best way to go with this? Ex Walgreens, or get a case and try to get rid of the excess Bits?
If the unit price in a case is $2.75, and the retail special is around $4.50, might it be worth just going for the shop units? Means a bit more running around though..

If they'd sell a case of *JUST* offroaders, I'd think you're probably better off just doing that. If their case of 48 is a mixture of Bits, Stunts, trucks... then I think the USA->Aus plan might be the way to go. Out off your 48 case, it could be that you only have like 6 offroad, not worth it unless you're selling bits.
If we do a Case down-under: somebody is going to have to eat the initial buy-in, and be stuck with the non-claimed ones until they can sell. And they still have to ship out to everybody down there. But, then again the Aus people who can't get in on it now will still have the opportunity later.
If we do the USA buying, ship to pimps: the retail price + individual shipping will probably be up to the same or more than with the previous plan. There will probably have to be more USA pimps involved in the search to supply everyone, so more gas money. (Not sure if I'd be able to find enough in my city) Aus pimps who can't make it in on this will be SOL unless they can do some extra legwork on their own later. But, they would be able to arrive sooner, you can have more choice about what style and color you want, can have other toys sent along also. (Are we doing a massive drop-ship, then having someone break it down and send to individuals; or are we shipping directly to individuals?)
You guys are running this, I'm just here to help out incase you decide to use one of the plans, you get to tell me what we're doing.

sorry guys!
things have been crazy these last couple weeks, lots of stupid personal stuff going on.
i emailed and got a reply from them, can definitely get a case of just-offroaders - 48 X $2.75 USD a piece + shipping (which from HK i'd estimate at around another $30-40 USD.)
They won't be in stock, however, until next year (march-ish).
Between Dave, Me and Guerd, I think we wanted 15 all up.
I'm not sure how easy it'll be to shift another 33 of these
You wanna wait it out, or go stateside for the hookup? i'm easy, either way.

I can wait for a case - with Xmas etc coming up it's prob a good move.
If we went thirds in a case, it'd be 16 Bits each, allowing a max of US$40 for post works out to about AU$80 each, which is AU$5 per piece landed.
Pretty good deal still - can use for random mods, and/or slowly release the surplus onto Ebay (my personal idea would be whatever I sell is money I can buy more crap with).
If this don't appeal to you guys, then it's back to the Stateside Hookup (which also works out pretty good).
45 - hang in there mate, personal shite always gets sorted eventually
