And just why aren't they 27 & 49mhz? Those are the only 2 frequecies that are allowed to US manufactures. They also advertise it as being so.cyberkidd007 wrote:hi guys i just wanted you to knkow that those aren't 27 & 49 mhz cars open the cont. and you will find a different crystal
I could be wrong but I doubt it!
Has anybody tried them with a different Tx or car? Hog ???

They made it like that because it is cheaper and they can get around it being illegal.DarkTari wrote:And just why aren't they 27 & 49mhz? Well, the other day I was at a big lots in Springfield and I FOUND 'EM!!!!!!!
So, I picked up 2 for me (1 truck of each freq.) and 1 blue (27) truck for a friend of mine. Well, mine work fine, and I freaking love 'em. I got about 30' of range straight on my 49 Mhz one. The only problem is, is that my friends controller doesn't work right. Like, you can charge the car up on it, and when you have it on and hit a button, the LED goes on, however, no signal is sent out. So, unless one of you guys knows what I am talking about and could help me fix the problem, or send me a spare 27 Mhz controller, (I knew I shouldda gotten that micro sizer one at the hobby shop laying there) I am going to return it for a different one. I felt really bad for him though, it kinda blows.
