Foam Track Material

I was Target and saw this for $9.99. One side is a diamond pattern and the other is smooth.

kinda looks like it might be similar to sessiz's track.
inter-locking pieces.
how thick is 1 piece?

Each piece is about 3/8" or so. Plus, the color of black, is like fresh asphalt.
As soon as I get time to lock the cats up and make a little room, I'll be able to set it up. I'll get a bit of vid for ya too, when I do.
