x trek set

Post by richh »

anyone seen these before?

looks like micro r/c meets kitt racing meets rollercoaster. i'm pretty sure you control the cars like any other micro r/c when you are running on the portion of the track that's actually on the ground. once you get up to the rollercoaster part though i guess it's just balls out, no need to steer. looks like it's one lane too, so not sure how much fun that would be (can't pass the other car).

the set weighs 14 pounds so if you go by the dollars per pound ratio maybe you're getting your money's worth  .

i think we all knock about Xtrk, but thats a REAL nice deal for them though. Some people were paying 25 for one car.

I had BettyK, send me a couple of the cars from down under.

They have proportional steering and throttle. They steer like a tank, dual motors. I'm thinkin' of use the board from one of them in a project, but not sure what yet.

The controllers are pretty cool too.
