Someone would have to give me a hell of a sales pitch to convince me that Digi-Qs are worth $10. I mean, they have tank steering, not much in the way of moddable parts, super short wheelbase making handling terrible, what's so good about them?

Admittedly, my only experience with this type of car is a couple i-Racers, but unless Digi-Qs are substantially better... :???:

Digi-Q's are cool...

- If you upgrade to the Digi-Propo 'Special' controller, you can (digitally) control the Top Speed, Acceleration, Turning Radius and Braking strength.
- Also, with the 'Special' controller, you can put in 'special' codes (combinations of the above settings) that'll make your car behave in different ways
- With it's super short length and tank-style steering, you could tune the turning radius anywhere from huge radius to spin-in-place. Basically these cars can TRULY race on a coffee table
- Uses Infra-Red for control, so there's no antenna wires hanging off.

I was a huge Digi-Q freak first (I've got 4 of em and the special controller), but after awhile and in spite of all the cool things it's capable of, the 'gimmicky' coolness of it wore off (for me).

Still, at $15 for a set (these things are usually ~$35 for a set), I don't have a problem with recommending it...If you're looking for something a little 'different'.
