Found a pile of these at TRU for 98 cents.

Since I already have the Mercedes body, I just grabbed one to use the motor for a project. Notice it has a blue endbell. I assumed at the time it must have been some kind of replacement for the purple endbell, but after flipping the package over, I see it a step above the Purple. I don't know if these were mentioned before, but I never seen one.

So instead of using it for a project, I'm throwing it in a Superslick. If I like it, I'm gonna have to go back for a handul o these.

I think you'll be disappointed with the blue motor performancein a SS. It drains the battery really fast and you pretty much have to hold the turbo down the whole time for it to work.

I'd say use it for a project, I put one in an old tri cell zz with an 8tooth pinion and Day-um.... That thing spins out everytime I touch the controller.... might try to upgrade to the purple 10 tooth pinion. Using with the zz, the batteries on that thing last forever.

I cleaned out the one Toys R Us I went to.... got other ideas in mind for projectes 8-)

Actually, I liked the blue motor. I ran it with the orange gears, and its got better punch than the slower purple motor which is kind of a dog in the power department. So its what I was hoping for, an improvement over the purple motor.
