A Kid's Review
the car super slicks are good but the monster the first was a piece of poop now this one is good because it has better supension and speed the old one whent like 3 mph this goes like 10 or 12 mph with off road kit which is slower than stock but is more powerful with the speed kit it goes like 15 mph but it is exclent.

I just recently replaced mine, knowing full well I should wait a little longer. Oh well, I knew they'd clear them out soon, my TRU still has buttload of 'em.

Hmm, that's odd. I submitted a review today for the hell of it, I just said "for under $20" and they censored it w/ (...), when others mentioned paying $14.95 and $20. I was nonspecific even.

I don't really care, I just thought it was odd. :???:

I just realized, they took it entirely out of context, I didn't even say their car was under $20, i was just saying a car with these features for under $20 was unheard of. Now they made me look like an ass, those assholes.
A 4WD, fully suspended RC, w/ front and rear differential gears, and its upradeable with motors, gearing, bodies, wheels, and more (...)That's unheard of. That would make this a bargain. Especially now that its on clearance.

Out of the package, its a pretty fun car, decent speed, easy to drive. I also had issue with a gear breaking in the steering's gearbox, but I purchased a replacement car, and have had no problems, just don't run into things. It is not good for running in dirt, the suspension gets stiff and creaky after exposure to dirt. I bought the hop up kits mostly for the wheels and bodies, as they look awesome. The offroad kit would be good for a crawler, but a bit slow for my taste. The speed set was too sluggish off the line, but I found the speed motor was slightly faster with the stock gears. These make an excellent basis for projects, quite a few people on them intranet forums have modified these with hobby grade electronics, with good results.

I'd reccomend picking up some AA rechargable batteries to go with it.
