Yeah I know your right about the 4wd Bilbo, I never bothered to price the rc18t or the Vendetta because I don't really like the way 4wd drives at speed-- I know it grips better but its not as much fun. If your racing I guess thats different. My main concern was (and is) Radio Shacks long term support record is not good and I have never seen a good radio system with one of their products...although I haven't owned that many other than zips (which I love). Like I said it looks like it might have potential...When they clear them out at$60 or so.

Well I love my RC18T, on the carpet track it breaks the rear loose with the BRP foams I'm using. With the Losi street meats on the concrete alley I can almost drift, but I'm not good at drifting.

Just for fun:
Ok I have to admit that radio shack has upgrade parts, I wonder if anyone will invest in:
1. Aluminum parts upgrade 129.99
2. High performance aluminum rims 49.99
3. Dual motor conversion kit 49.99
4. Oil filled shocks (may be the ones
come with the package) 39.99
5. Hardware kit 29.99
6. Lexan buggy top (it say customize
your vehicle so I guess its different) 29.99
7. Drive-shaft and case set (carbon fiber)19.99
8. Different pinion gears 19.99
9. Titanium servo saver & tie rods 19.99 (pretty good for titanium)
-------------------------total-------------- $389.91
Oh plus the truck $99
------------------------------------------------$488.91
before tax (5-6%) $518.25 Looks cool but I think I’ll stick with their Zips
:-o
