old habbits die hard, lego tyres are the shit!

Want to talk about micro boats or micro planes? How about trains, slot cars or submarines? Well you can do it all right here. If it's another hobby and it doesn't fit in one of our other forums, then it goes here.

they fit beautifully on wide mr01 wheels! they're semi pneumatic, rubber is nice, about 30 - 40 degree and measure 30.4 x 14mm. just what i was after!! saves me forking out for ol wheels like i was gonna. they will require a modded shell, and the front tyres will rub on the chassis when turning, but this is a minor obstacle! yet to try it out, i've only got 2 tyres, but the toyshop's up the road, i'll be shopping tomorrow!

it's all good! check dis!

they work so well, only coming unseated during rollovers. as can be expected torque is reduced and top speed is better, but i'm currently runnig a 9t pinion so dropping down to a 6t will make it spit dirt! the tyres themselves are great, plenty grippy on concrete and a little bouncy. i can go across the grass too, thanks to the larger diameter. it gets stuck sometimes in a tall part BUT. lego comes to the rescue again!

this car has the same rims as the other, so i can only assume that these tyres will fit just as well.

how good is that!!!!!

and the first person that says "why don't you just buy an overland" is gonna cop a punch in tha neck! :blazin:

Those actually look pretty good on there. Now you just need a truck body.

Not sure about them big 'uns though. They look kinda goofy.;)
