battery - charging question

Want to talk about micro boats or micro planes? How about trains, slot cars or submarines? Well you can do it all right here. If it's another hobby and it doesn't fit in one of our other forums, then it goes here.

battery - charging question

Post by kvik369 »

Don't know if anyone is familiar with these, but this is reference to the new superslicks. The come stock with a 3 batt pack (haven't taken it apart so I don't know exactly what they are) and are charged with a 4 AAA charger. I thought you used approx 3 volts per every battery. This is using 6volts and the thing does fly. I've used an adapter at 6 volts and it works fine, but I thought, according to whats been said, that I should use 9 volts since this has 3 batts. Anybody?

i've discovered that it's the current that makes up the biggest part of charging. just so long as the charging voltage is higher than the battery voltage.
i used to be cool
