Wall-e Action figure to R/C...

Want to talk about micro boats or micro planes? How about trains, slot cars or submarines? Well you can do it all right here. If it's another hobby and it doesn't fit in one of our other forums, then it goes here.

Wall-e Action figure to R/C...

Post by Sporttracguy »

So a while back I picked up one of these Wall-e action figures with two sets of interchangeable rubber treads. It sat on my shelf for some time and then I got motivated to turn it into an r/c toy. I used the gears and electronics from one of those fly wheels rc toys Image

This thing has tons of torque and is a tad top heavy but works great. I took a short video so you get the idea. I still need to attach the back panel and make the battery permanent. Probably a little over powered, its currently running on a dual lipo cell.
Next on the list is to make the eyes glow blue...

Left the Coke can in there for scale.

This video is still loading so hopefully it works.

That's pretty sweet! Where did you find that Wall-E?

Picked up the toy at Toysrus but I don't see it on the site as of now. These toys came out before the movie and were practically sold out before the film hit theaters. :o
