So...is it a fun driver? Hopefully, these will come down in price soon!
What's run-time like on these?

They DO look like alot of fun! Nice looking under pinnings too.
I need to get around to buying my first Mini-Z...I've been wanting one of those for awhile now.
The DNanos are tempting though...

Hey Reaper - thanks for data! 45 + minutes of fun sounds good to me!
You know, I was on Atomics sight yesterday and they don't have a lot to choose from anymore regarding the Z's. Then I thought I saw post somewhere that Kyosho is going to let the Z fade away...don't take my word for that, I thought I just saw a topic about it while doing a search and didn't even read the post fully.
A 1/43 scale hobby-grade car just sounds like a lot of fun for small spaces like my basement...I may just save my pennies and see what happens to the prices after the new year

Do they use a standard AM radio? Because jr-rc has them for around $150 but the ad says it need the starter kit...which looks like it just includes battery/charger/transmitter.

I believe they are all 2.4 Ghz. That link points to just the car - no radio. I was wondering if the Mini-Z 2.4 Ghz radio is compatible with the DNano? You would hope so but logic doesn't always coincide with marketing/sales department ($$$$$$$$).

bad news is 24ghz only good news is any mini z or ko propo radio will work as they use the same asf board as the mini z does
