I really don't know, but I've noticed that the IR tanks also have that.

Already have it for a while. And it's nice. There's no led, the top thing doesn't turn with remote, but it's fun.

Since this last post, has anyone ever played with or own the VSTANK ( i love that, i keep thinking 'V STANK') Or the Konami Digi Tanks? Or any other tanks? Yes, the battling ones. Also, at toyeast, there's some type of cartoonish tanks (katawa?) that look like battling tanks too.
What's the word? Let's talk tanks, I wanna buy if they're worthwhile.

there are some seriously cool r/c tanks for sale at jaycar out here in australia. they are pricy though...

the first ones battle, are IR controlled and have the recoil functions, etc. they sell for about $50AUD for a set of 2

The next ones are fricking insane. they are larger, each one takes two AAA's, and they look like something invented by doctor evil. And the best part about them? When you shoot your opponent - THE CONTROLLER ELECTROCUTES THEM!
not a huge shock, but enough to smart like a biatch after 3 or 4 hits. you can even adjust the intensity from low to high! High is similar to the jolt you'd get from a small capacity electric fence! [edit] - these ones sell for $99AUD for two.
