Fastlane 1/24th scale ('04 style)
I picked one up today.
They have 2 bodies, reb and blue. They look like trucks, thats it.
Then 2 upgrade bodies...
Black F-150 with speed motor and lights that plug up like an Xmod, and street tires and chrome rims.
Yellow Hummer with crawling motor, shocks, and crawling tires and chrome rims.
I bought the blue one.
They are 4WD and fast right out of the box.
It has pivots like an '04, but not links, more like plates.
Tranny is in the middle, only one motor.
The motor is inbetween a 130 and 180 can. Slightly fatter than a 130 and shorter than a 180.
Runs on 4 AA's in the same spot as an '04, and a 9v in the TX.
The TX isn't all that cheesey, its not that great either. On and off, plus throttle and turn.
Overall....
$19.99 for the starter kit and $9.99 for the hop-up kits.
It's the '04 you've always wanted!!!
Go freakin' get one!!!!
...or two...
...or three...
They're $20 bucks!!!
Here's some shot of the whole truck.

Well fuckin L. That sucks poop. I wonder if those wheels will fit my OL?
219, you got an OL to test em on? That and maybe the Hummer body. If that'd fit, I'd buy it just for the wheels, and body...

Yah gave me a great deal and love the thing!! you da man SG!Sorry no OL. Sold it awhile back to SWG.

I saw these at TRU yesterday and was tempted to get one but really wanted someone to try the thing out first. The controller did look cheesy does it have a crystal that you could use a K2 Controler with it? or are you stuck with the one they give you?
Looked like you could do some mods with it the upgrade bodies looked a hell of a lot better then what is stock esp. the hummer body!
is there any real clearance under the chassis?

Its definately possible to do a Propo mod, I'll suggest 4WS.
No crystal, 27.
The motors are upgradeable along with the gearing, just like the SS's.
The motor spins a shaft thru the main chassis and connects in the front. I haven't cracked it open yet, but I'm assuming its three peices, front swivel-solid center-rear swivel, with all gearing in the axles.
Damn do I need another one of these.
