I bought this boat off of eBay and got a heck of a deal its a 1950 Richardson’s Mahogany boat based on the Richardson 35 foot Cabin Cruiser. I plan to refinish it and bring it back to its original glory.

This boat is a little bigger then what I am used to working with guess the scale is about 1/10 I show a micro RC on the boat so that ya’ll can get an idea of the size. The ship is a little over 24” long and about 8”wide. I am thinking of buying an already built RC boat and then taking the guts out of it to put in this boat!

This boat will put my ship building skills together with my RC skills and well we can only wait and see what comes out of it! :???:

If anyone has any ideas for some RC boat building please let me know any help would be appreciated!

Well I did some more work to the boat I sanded the old finish then stained the boat mahogany. After staining the boat I clear coated it with gloss polyurethane.

I then painted the white after taping off the stained areas. I plan to add the electronics and more detail when I come back from my trip.

Betty thanks a ton man I might need your help if I do I will give you a shout! :-)

Huhuhuhuhuh, dude he said he likes your wood.

Sorry, had to be done. That boat looks so cool! So it started off as just a static model? Love the color scheme, and the gold lettering on the stern really fits.

*tries to get a better look at the micro bodies that are in the orange bin things in the background*
