Another Wally World Find

Want to talk about micro boats or micro planes? How about trains, slot cars or submarines? Well you can do it all right here. If it's another hobby and it doesn't fit in one of our other forums, then it goes here.

Another Wally World Find

Post by steelwoolghandi »

I found this today at Wal-Mart it’s by Jada Toys the same people that make Dub City. It’s a 1969 Chevy Chevelle SS and called a Bigtime Muscle.

I did not see an antenna sticking out when I bought it but when I took it apart it was wrapped around the inside of the body.

The Steering is a steering motor, the controller sucks but I plan to change that and replace the PCB board. The size is a little larger then an Epoch so about 1/32 scale.

All around a nice little RC for the price $9.95 it runs real fast but the tires are slick so it gets vary little traction on my wood floor.

Thought I would post this in case ya’ll haven’t seen them yet.

For the money this looks interesting,I bet it uses a 130 class motor. Time to mod things a little and install a ESC/receiver and a Plasmatronic motor

:-D
I blame bitPIMPS for infecting me with the savage urge to buy roach sized RC!

To get it going, just throw an iW PCB in it. With a modded 130 motor and you're good to go :-o

I don't think $30 shipped, for a new one is too bad.

steelwoolghandi, did you ever finish the mod on this? I see these cars all the time and was thinking about picking them up to experiment with and was just wondering what your results were.
