here's the size compared to a bit...

and here's a little surprise. i would have thought the chassis would have been the same between these racer types and the classic car types, but i'm wrong. entirely different layout. dig the barbie flesh colored plastic  .

the racers have an additonal blue led that lights up the interior. they also are a lot quicker compared to the classic car chassis. a little lacking in the torque dept., but the top end is definitely there. when i'm at speed and hit the boost button, i have a hard time to keep the thing from spinning out :-) .

Wow, the more I am seeing of these the more I am impressed.

I got a few questions. Most important one first.

Is there enough room for a PCB transplant (it looks like it is possible).

What's the mAh rating on the battery pack?

What type of steering does it have? i.e. magnet or motor. Looks like it may be different on the Classics and the Racers.

How much room is undeneath the CB in the Ford?

Is it hard to remove the tires from those rims?

Okay I'm done. Let the flaming begin.

Looks like magnet to me, see the small steering wires? :search:

I'd assume you'd get alot of room if you remove the interior

*BUMP*

I was at a Fry's Electronics, and they carry these. $8.99 They appear to be made by "Ecoman" and they're calling them "MicroGear".

Still 1/52 scale, still have old cars and ricers.
