155 foot american king, I had loads of fun on one of those. The one I raced at had only 2 banked corners (The Bowl and The Finger) the rest was flat. Racing on that made our regulars better drivers.

Small up date. Laster week I finished 3rd in the FCR race, 2nd in the drags, and 8th in the indy race, due to a body that was beat up and the front nose would lift , it actually made the car fly off the track, it almost landed on the drag strip once! I have been working on the FCR trying to get it tuned just right. I have the indy car set up and its a rocket.

I've finished up my car for the new class we are running.

The rules
SpeedFX sealed motor
120 grams or more
.400 or wider rear tires.

I still need a pinion and to solder on the motor. I also need to paint the body up. My plan is candy apple red and gold.

Make sure you do the coats of candy very light. Several light coats are better than having the runs.

I use to race on an Olgivie Track. That looks like an Olgivie King.

Picked up another body tonight. Studebaker made by DRS. I plan on putting a door slammer chassis under it with a 12 arm in a D can. I had bought a pro stock camaro body last night and paint it and all it looked pretty good. A guy left his car in the shut down and it tore the camaro up pretty bad. Still ha ve to finish my car for the new class, they ordered me the wrong chassis. Some how they got a $35.00 and I specifically said its 9.98.

I used to run Parma's Studebaker. It was a '53 Funny Car I think. I got funny looks but it was worth it when I had the win light.

Aren't you supposed to look before you run?

Yes, yes you are. I did take a quick look down the track but didn't see anything. I'm thinking of getting some flame mask and doing a blue base with white flames. Also on the rear wing I'm going to try out one of those paint transfers. I'm thinking a skull maybe :???:

Well, building a car for the texas races coming up. Its definetly comp worthy. And it should be since it cost nearly 100.00 just for the roller.

Here is a list of things to get.
WRP door slammer chassis...............................20.00
Slick 7 hollow axle 3/32............................... 3.49
Pro Track 3/32 Bearings................................ 8.99
2 BBs for motor...........................................30.00
Sonic Tri-lite spur?tooth?............................... 7.99
Sonic Pinion ?tooth?...................................... 2.99
Sonic Grape nut........................................... 1.49
Cut down guide........................................... 3.00
Rebuild motor.............................................12.00

Total w/out tax: 89.95

It will be a top sportsman class car.I already have a body, WRP studebaker. Good thing I already have the motor too.If I had to build another motor that would cost me another $80.00+

Quadruple the price for the spur gears and pinion gears, you will end up getting at least 4 spurs and 4-5 pinions to find out the best ratio for the motor, chassis, track.

You are putting them in a cave?

I'm guessing you mean Borrow.

You'll still end up buying them soon anyway.
