Carbon Fiber Guide + (updated)

Want to talk about micro boats or micro planes? How about trains, slot cars or submarines? Well you can do it all right here. If it's another hobby and it doesn't fit in one of our other forums, then it goes here.

For about $40, I got 12 4x6 sheets. Plenty to create something (chassis, links, etc.). Perhaps even a hole car body or a boat.
Process to transform fabric into solid is simple enough to do at home.
Happy modding :-)

You know, I saw this before, and wonder if it'd be worth my while to do it this way, or buy flat sheets that were all ready to be cut, but then I realized that if you're starting with cloth you can form something with shapes and contours. Now that's gotta come in handy for something. :???:

What are you planning to do with all that?
...crazy man, crazy...dig it.

Just my thoughts exactly. I just want to see how well/fine it can be shaped.
For starters making some parts for xmod/mini-z (extension plate or such).

AUTOCLAVE, yeah that would be good, but no don't have one.
:???: (maybe ...)
Besides, vacuum forming is good enough for my purpose ( parts I'll use wont need to be super strong).

I got into this out of curiosity, so will take it slow. However, progress on this subject will be posted.
